Breakfast is an important part of your stay with us. We make our own bread and focus on using local produce from independent suppliers as well as what we can source from our own kitchen garden.

Each morning, guests can choose from a selection of continental items followed by a freshly prepared hot dish.

Hawkhurst, the 'crossroads' of the Weald, is a well-connected and attractive village, known for its historic buildings and distinctive white colonnade of independent shops plus the Kino, our local boutique cinema.


It's the perfect base for exploring Kent's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as visiting the coast and other local attractions...not forgetting six National Trust properties (Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens, Scotney Castle, Lamb House, Batemans and Smallhythe Place) all within 10 miles!

We're also conveniently located for Benenden Hospital which is only a 10 minute drive from the B&B.

We are ideally located for visiting Tenterden and Rye, two of the most popular destinations in Kent, both less than 20 minutes away.


There's no shortage of impressive castles, stately homes and stunning gardens to visit, all within a few miles.

From the battlements of Bodiam to the  grounds and gardens to at Sissinghurst Castle, there's something for visitors of every age.


The Weald has many outdoor activities, attracting walkers, cyclists and bird watchers, to name but a few.
